Line or stem through the earth's center connecting its surface to the underworld and the heavens and around which the universe revolves.
In this solo show in Tibet Open House I have made photoprints on canvas of collages with symbols inspired from different cultures and religions
I work and mix several techniques together, such as sewing,painting, drawing, claymodelling and sculpture.
I create subtle compilations, installations and narratives,which I then photograph and process further on computer.
There are elements from indigenous and native religions that interest me at the moment.
My work can be seen as an interpretation of human existential wonder of life's mystery and our quest for confirmation from holy powers
It is a fabrication and play around different cultures froma state of chaos towards order and reflection.
For me, it is about presence and rituals, where composition ,colour and materials are essential parts of my creative process.
Humour and playfulness are also natural elements in my expression.
They are in a circulation of 5 of each, and some have been shown in Oslo at a solo show in 2021.
Others are new, made from sketches and ideas 2017-2023 .
There are garden gnomes , toys, veils, smoke, flowers ,sacred geometry, rococco , real Buddhas and fake Buddhas.
2018 - 2021
